Le Grand Chateau awaits your arrival, set in park-like surroundings. Two bedroom accommodation downstairs in a house (the owners live upstairs but it's completely separate and private): Alice room offers a queen size bed with a wall mounted TV and ceiling fan. Twilight room has a beautiful brass king size four poster bed and a king single bunk bed. Linen and towels are provided. Please bring beach towels if needed. Self-contained kitchen includes microwave, convection oven, large double door fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Lounge room has a comfortable lounge, flat screen TV and DVD player. Books and DVDs available. Bathroom with shower, separate toilet. Laundry includes washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. Large deck with outdoor setting , gas BBQ, beautiful gardens and depending on the season lots of birdlife. Le Grand Chateau is situated in a quiet residential area, set in a beautiful garden, close to the Port Authority Park, and the new Adventureland park offering mini golf, a skate park, bbq facilities and kiddie train (in season). Post office, shops, banks, hotels, restaurants and cafes, cinema, historic museum village, foreshore walkway are all just a 5-minute drive or a short walk away.

From the Post Office follow Andrew street towards the foreshore. At the roundabout turn right into the Esplanade. Follow the Esplanade, going up the bridge and turn right into Smith street ** then the first right is Watson street and the house is at number 6a (just left of 6b, behind the bushes). ** If Smith street is closed, just drive past it and turn right into the next street Phillips street. hen first right into Goodliff street, first right into Smith street and first left into Watson street. The house is at number 6a (just left of 6b, behind the bushes).

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: One nights accomodation payable if booking cancelled 1-4 weeks prior arrival. One nights accomodation plus no bond return payable if booking is cancelled less than 1 week prior to arrival. No refund if booking cancelled less than 24 hours prior arrival. No refund will be made for a variation to the extent that it breaches our minimum nights stay policy. Minimum 2 nights stay (Wendy, the owner, will consider one night if really necessary, call her direct); Easter min 3 nights (has to be Fri-Sat-Sun) and Dec/Jan school hols min 5 nights. Bond of $250 required; this will be returned upon satisfactory property condition report. Bond will not be returned if premises are not left in as clean a condition as on arrival or damages are evident Bank details for the bond will be sent in an email (together with key details) after full payment has been made. A late checkout will incur a charge of half a days tarriff for the booking. The number of guests must not exceed the number specified at the time of booking.
