Booking Conditions

The Esperance Visitor Centre acts as the non-exclusive agent for the supply of goods and/or other services by regional operators. 

By making your booking you acknowledge and agree that the Esperance Visitor Centre is acting as the agent for the supplier of the goods and/or services and that any dispute which you may have in relation to that booking, goods and/or services, shall be directed to the supplier and not to the Visitor Centre or their staff.

The Esperance Visitor Centre warrants that it is authorised to make bookings and to receive payments on behalf of regional operators.

It is not the responsibility of the Esperance Visitor Centre to keep accommodation and tour information (including availability and rates) up to date. That responsibility lies with each individual operator.

Every person making a booking should verify for themselves the accuracy of the information provided on behalf of any regional operator.

Although the Esperance Visitor Centre provides this booking service on behalf of regional operators, cancellations of confirmed bookings (where payment has been made) will attract a $22.00 booking centre cancellation fee (in addition to any potential operator cancellation fee).

The Esperance Visitor Centre shall not be responsible for double bookings  and/or over bookings for any accommodation, goods and/or services booked through the Esperance Visitor Centre.

It is the responsibility of all persons making bookings through the Esperance Visitor Centre to be aware of and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Validity of Rates

Accommodation costs are for room only and do not include transfer or breakfast cost unless otherwise stated.

Prices are inclusive of the Australian Goods and Services Tax.

Rates during “accommodation block out periods” may alter from the prices advertised. The Esperance Visitor Centre is not responsible for availability or rate discrepancies on their website.

Full payment is due within 24 hours of confirmation if booking is for one or two nights only, or if booking date is one month or less prior to arrival date (unless arrival date falls in December/January then full payment is due two months prior to arrival). If no payment has been received within the required timeframe we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

Deposits: Payment is due within 24 hours of confirmation from the Esperance Visitor Centre. If no payment has been received after the 24 hour period we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

If a booking hasn't been fully paid the day before arrival, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

Any amount paid on the booking may be lost to cover cancellation fees.

Tours

Operators reserve the right to alter tour itineraries at any time as a result of fire, flood, extreme weather conditions or any other circumstance beyond their control. 

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of any sensitive personal information (SPI) you may provide us. SPI includes information that can be linked to a specific individual, such as name, address, phone number or email address.

The Privacy Policy below explains how the Esperance Visitor Centre handles and protects your SPI in accordance with commonly accepted privacy principles.

The Esperance Visitor Centre reserves the right to modify or amend this policy at any time and for any reason.

What Information We Collect

In an effort to keep our service as simple and as easy as possible, we do not create, use or store individual profiles of our customers. We only record SPI which we reasonably require in order to do business with you.

We collect SPI when you:

  • Make a booking – Your full name, address, email address and phone number will be taken each time you make a booking with us.
  • Contact The Esperance Visitor Centre. We collect SPI such as your full name, address, email address and/or telephone number whenever you submit a query or suggestion, or request assistance with a booking.

How We Use Your Information

The Esperance Visitor Centre uses your SPI only for the purpose of responding to and fulfilling your requests for our products and/or services. We may also contact you about your stay for customer service purposes; to make any changes or cancellations to your booking, or to respond to your questions or suggestions.

Who We Share Your Information With

We do not disclose any information about customer bookings to anyone; except accommodation operators who require this information to fulfil your booking request. If you are concerned as to how accommodation suppliers will use your SPI, we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.
